This treatment for tinnitus contains hydrocortisone, which is very effective on alleviating the itching as well as the ringing sounds. Ear drops should only be used with a prescription from your physician.

Suction Device – Suction devices can be used to remove excessive earwax that can be causing your tinnitus.

Tinnitus Mask – This is used to avoid tinnitus. It works like a hearing aid but the only difference is that it produces a sound that is bearable than the sound produced by tinnitus. This mask act as distractor and can cure the condition effectively.

Medicines – Medicines are an effective way to stop tinnitus especially if your condition is caused by an infection of the ear. Antibiotics are known to be very effective against infection. In case anxiety and depression are the main cause of ringing in the ears, the patient may need to take anti-depressants like amitripyline. Do not try over-the-counter medications as it is still best to consult a physician before taking any of these medications.
